Palms in the Japan Garden

What kind of palms were in the Japan Pavilion garden? Or are these cycads?

I posted this question on the PalmTalk.org forum and found out these are cycads, probably Cycas revoluta, cycads (Japanese sotetsu 蘇鉄).

Like so many plants and objects that went to the PPIE, did these stay in California? Two bonsai trees stayed here. One is allegedly at the Japanese Garden at Lakeshore Gardens. The other stayed with the Domoto family and is now up in Washington State. Many trees ended up at Golden Gate Park.
