North Carolina history and garden exhibits

The Doris Duke Garden combines photos, text, leaves, QR code.
Divided into thirds or fourths depending on how you count it.

Checking out what North Carolina has in the way of exhibits for history and gardens.

QR codes on plant labels, too.

The Blue Ridge Parkway had a nice  exhibit with four wings = 8 boards. Here are 4 of them.

Most of them had a large phot as the background.
The rest of the space was divided up horizontally.

The Folk Art Center in the same complex had some large timelines
Timeline takes the stage here, with photos secondary.
Especially because you can't see them very well.

This one had a nice simple use of photos as a partial frame.

Hillsborough, the most literary town in the U.S. (?) had lots of good exhibits. This one is along their river.

The Hillsborough Historical Society had many very nice large history boards. Lots of words, because there are not many photos of this old history.

The stairway had a timeline.

Upstairs they had a schoolhouse exihibit with blackboards as the board.

This one has nice color blocks. Very simple and the 3D cigarettes are a nice touch.
